The core values of co-working
Core values are our values that form the foundation of our lives. They guide our actions and behaviors. This holds true for organizations, teams, groups, and, of course, co-working spaces.
Defined by coworking.com, “The co-working movement espouses five core values: Community, Openness, Collaboration, Sustainability, and Accessibility.” These values help to create a unified movement that allows co-working spaces to flourish.
As the co-working industry continues to grow, with 2020 projected to see 3.8 million co-workers, it is important to set a foundational value system for members to follow. Co-working spaces, like the Green House, are more than just a place to rent a desk, they are a place to ignite a community to do more and be more. This is done through Community, Openness, Collaboration, Sustainability, and Accessibility. Take a minute to ponder the importance of each value.
If you’d like to see how we are living out these core values, stop by The Green House for a quick tour any time between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.
